Badam Doodh

Almond MILK is a beverage made from ground almonds, Almond MILK can be made at home by combining ground almonds with water in a blender. Vanilla flavoring and sweeteners are often added. It is served hot garnished with silver warq. Here Ananda provides a simple and easy Badam Doodh recipe.

  • Servings : 4
  • Almonds, blanched and roughly chopped 1/4 cup
  • ANANDA FULL CREAM MILK4 cups
  • Green cardamom powdera pinch
  • Nutmeg powdera pinch
  • Honey3-4 tablespoons
  • Silver warq1-2 leaves

Method

Heat milk in a thick-bottomed vessel and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat, add chopped almonds and simmer on low heat for fifteen to twenty minutes.

Add green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and continue to boil for another two minutes.

Remove from heat, add honey and stir. Serve warm in individual earthenware glasses, garnished with silver warq.
